The Miseducation of Cameron Post is a 2018 American-British drama film directed by Desiree Akhavan, from a screenplay by Akhavan and Cecilia Frugiuele, based upon the 2012 novel of the same name by Emily M. Danforth. It stars Chloë Grace Moretz, John Gallagher, Jr., Sasha Lane, Forrest Goodluck, Marin Ireland, Owen Campbell, Kerry Butler, Quinn Shephard, Emily Skeggs, Melanie Ehrlich, and Jennifer Ehle. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 22, 2018. It was released in the United States on August 3, 2018 by FilmRise, and United Kingdom on September 7, 2018, by Vertigo Releasing.

In 1993 after teenage Cameron is caught in the backseat of a car with the prom queen, she is sent away to a treatment center in a remote area called God’s Promise. While she is being subjected to questionable gay conversion therapies, she bonds with some fellow residents as they pretend to go along with the process while waiting to be released.
