The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir (2018)

The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir is a French English-language comedy–adventure film directed by Ken Scott and starring Dhanush. It is based on a novel by Romain Puertolas titled The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe. The film was shot in four countries: India, France, Italy, and Libya. The film will be dubbed in Tamil as Vazhkaiya Thedi Naanum Poren, which was inspired by the first line of Velaiilla Pattadhari‘s song “Udhungada Sangu”.

Ajatashatru Lavash Patel has lived all his life in a small Mumbai neighborhood tricking people with street magic and fakir stunts. He sets out on a journey to find his estranged father, but instead gets dragged on a never-ending adventure.
