Ittefaq (English: Coincidence) is a 2017 Indian mystery–thriller film, directed by Abhay Chopra and produced by Red Chillies Entertainmentin association with BR Studios & Dharma Productions. The film is inspired from the 1969 film by the same name, directed by Yash Chopra. It stars Sidharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.
An acclaimed writer and a young homemaker become the prime suspects in a double murder. Police officer Dev must figure out who’s telling the truth when both offer conflicting stories about the events of that fateful night.
