Vikram Vedha is an Indian Tamil-language neo-noir crime thriller film written and directed by Pushkar and Gayathri featuring R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Shraddha Srinath, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Kathir play supporting roles. Produced by Sashikanth, the team began pre-production works in 2014 and the film began production in November 2016. The film released on July 21, 2017.
A team lead by Vikram, a ruthless, no-nonsense encounter cop, is on the hunt to capture or kill Vedha, a dreaded gangster.
