Garam Masala (2005)

Garam Masala (transl. ’Hot spices’) is a 2005 Indian comedy film written and directed by Priyadarshan, featuring Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Rimi Sen, Neha Dhupia, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav. It was released during Diwali in 2005. Akshay Kumar received the Best Actor award in a Comic Role award for his performance at the Filmfare Awards. With time, this film has gained a cult following and has been regarded as one of the best bollywood movies in the comic genre. It is a remake of the director’s own 1985 Malayalam film Boeing Boeing which was based on the 1960 French play of the same name.[2][3][4] Akshay Kumar and John Abraham’s restaurant scene with Neha Dhupia was adapted from another of Priyadarshan’s own Malayalam films, Aram + Aram = Kinnaram.
