Mere Pyare Prime Minister (2019)

Mere Pyare Prime Minister (transl. Dear Prime Minister…) is an 2018 Indian Hindi-language social-drama film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.[1] It stars Anjali Patil, Om Kanojiya, Atul Kulkarni, Makrand Deshpande, Niteesh Wadhwa and Rasika Agashe.[2][3][4][5] The film follows an 8-year old boy who decides to write a letter to the Prime Minister of India after his mother is raped. It was the only Asian film which was screened at the Rome Film Festival.

A story about four children living in a Mumbai slum in India. An eight-year old Kanhu writes a letter to the Prime Minister after a dramatic incident with his mother. A small boy has to achieve the impossible.
