Fighting with My Family (2019)

Fighting with My Family is a 2019 biographical sports comedy-drama film based on the 2012 documentary The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family by director Max Fisher, depicting the WWE career of professional wrestler Paige. The film stars Florence Pugh as Paige, along with Jack Lowden, Nick Frost, Lena Headey and Vince Vaughn, and is written and directed by Stephen Merchant. Dwayne Johnson executively produces and also appears in the film.The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 28, 2019, and was released in the United States on February 22, 2019. It received positive reviews and has grossed over $11 million.

Born into a tight-knit wrestling family, Paige and her brother Zak are ecstatic when they get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to try out for the WWE. But when only Paige earns a spot in the competitive training program, she must leave her loved ones behind and face this new cutthroat world alone. Paige’s journey pushes her to dig deep and ultimately prove to the world that what makes her different is the very thing that can make her a star.
