Hotel Artemis<\/b><\/i> is a 2018 dystopian<\/a> thriller film<\/a> written and directed by Drew Pearce<\/a>, in his feature film directorial debut. It stars Jodie Foster<\/a>, Sterling K. Brown<\/a>, Sofia Boutella<\/a>, Jeff Goldblum<\/a>, Charlie Day<\/a>, Brian Tyree Henry<\/a>, Jenny Slate<\/a>, Dave Bautista<\/a>, and Zachary Quinto<\/a>. The plot follows Jean Thomas, a nurse who runs a secret hospital for criminals in futuristic Los Angeles<\/a>. It was released in the United States on June 8, 2018 and received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the cast and premise but said “it doesn’t exactly punch above its weight in terms of originality or impact given the intriguing pedigree.<\/p>\n

As rioting rocks Los Angeles in the year 2028, disgruntled thieves make their way to Hotel Artemis — a 13-story, members-only hospital for criminals. It’s operated by the Nurse, a no-nonsense, high-tech healer who already has her hands full with a French assassin, an arms dealer and an injured cop.
