Ghostrunner 2<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is an upcoming\u00a0action video game<\/a>\u00a0developed by One More Level and published by\u00a0505 Games<\/a>. A sequel to\u00a0Ghostrunner<\/a><\/i>\u00a0(2020), the game is scheduled to release for\u00a0PlayStation 5<\/a>,\u00a0Windows<\/a>, and\u00a0Xbox Series X\/S<\/a> on 26 October 2023.<\/p>\n

The game is played from a\u00a0first-person perspective<\/a>. The playable character Jack is very agile, being able to traverse dangerous environments by dashing, jumping, wall-running, and sliding. He can also utilize a\u00a0grappling hook<\/a>\u00a0to swing through the environment, and use “Sensory Boost”, which briefly slows down time, allowing Jack to strafe through the air.[1]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0The game also introduces a\u00a0stamina<\/a>\u00a0meter, which dictates how frequent players can dash and deflect attacks. While a sword is the player’s primary weapon, Jack also has access to several special abilities, which can be used in both combat scenarios and solving puzzles. For instance, the “Shuriken<\/a>” ability, which allows Jack to throw multiple electrical\u00a0throwing stars<\/a>, can be used to stun enemies as well as hitting distant switches.[2]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0Both Jack and his enemy have very limited\u00a0health<\/a>, and both can be killed in one hit.[3]<\/a><\/sup><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
