Cyberpunk 2077<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is a 2020\u00a0action role-playing video game<\/a>\u00a0developed by\u00a0CD Projekt Red<\/a>\u00a0and published by\u00a0CD Projekt<\/a>, based on video game designer\u00a0Mike Pondsmith’s<\/a>\u00a0game series<\/a>. Set in a\u00a0dystopian<\/a>\u00a0Cyberpunk<\/a>\u00a0universe<\/a>, the player assumes the role of “V” (played by\u00a0Gavin Drea<\/a>\/Cherami Leigh<\/a>), a\u00a0mercenary<\/a>\u00a0in the fictional\u00a0Californian<\/a>\u00a0city known as “Night City”, where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental\u00a0cybernetic<\/a>\u00a0“bio-chip” containing an\u00a0engram<\/a>\u00a0of the legendary\u00a0rock star<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0terrorist<\/a>\u00a0Johnny Silverhand (played by\u00a0Keanu Reeves<\/a>) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life. By September 2022, the game has sold more than 20 million copies. An expansion,\u00a0Phantom Liberty<\/i>, is set to release on 26 September 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X\/S. A sequel was announced.<\/p>\n

<\/span>The game begins with the selection of one of three lifepaths for the player character V (Gavin Drea<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0Cherami Leigh<\/a>): Nomad, Streetkid, or Corpo. All three lifepaths involve V starting a new life in Night City with local thug Jackie Welles (Jason Hightower) and having various adventures with a netrunner, T-Bug.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
