Starfield<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is an upcoming\u00a0action role-playing game<\/a>\u00a0developed by\u00a0Bethesda Game Studios<\/a>\u00a0and published by\u00a0Bethesda Softworks<\/a>.[4]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0It was announced during Bethesda’s\u00a0E3<\/a>\u00a0presentation in 2018.[4]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0The game takes place in a space-themed setting, and is the first new\u00a0intellectual property<\/a>\u00a0developed by Bethesda in 29 years.[5]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0It is scheduled to release for\u00a0Windows<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Xbox Series X\/S<\/a>\u00a0on September 6, 2023, with the early access release receiving generally favorable reviews.<\/p>\n

Starfield<\/i>\u00a0is an\u00a0action role-playing video game<\/a>. Players can switch between a\u00a0first-person<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0third-person perspective<\/a>\u00a0any time in the game.\u00a0Starfield<\/i>\u00a0features an\u00a0open world<\/a>\u00a0in the form of an area within the\u00a0Milky Way<\/a>\u00a0galaxy, containing both fictional and non-fictional\u00a0planetary systems<\/a>, with players being able to land on more than 1,000 planets and an unspecified number of moons and space stations. The majority of the landscapes within the game were\u00a0procedurally generated<\/a>; they were subsequently modified and handcrafted content was developed around them. The game will generate the terrain and the alien flora and fauna of a planet depending on the\u00a0star<\/a>\u00a0of its system and its atmosphere, as well as locations of interest as the player approaches a planet.[6]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
