The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me<\/b><\/i>, also known simply as\u00a0The Devil in Me<\/b><\/i>, is a 2022\u00a0interactive drama<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0survival horror<\/a>\u00a0video game<\/a>\u00a0developed by\u00a0Supermassive Games<\/a>\u00a0and published by\u00a0Bandai Namco Entertainment<\/a>. It is the fourth installment and the final installment of season one in\u00a0The Dark Pictures Anthology<\/a><\/i>, after\u00a0Man of Medan<\/a><\/i>\u00a0(2019),\u00a0Little Hope<\/a><\/i>\u00a0(2020), and\u00a0House of Ashes<\/a><\/i>\u00a0(2021). Like earlier games in the series,\u00a0The Devil in Me<\/i>\u00a0features a cast of five\u00a0playable protagonists<\/a>\u00a0and a\u00a0multilinear narrative<\/a>\u00a0influenced by player choice. The game’s decision-making scenes, of which there are several, can significantly alter the trajectory of the plot and change the relationships between the main characters. Due to these choices, any of the five protagonists can\u00a0die permanently<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A group of documentary film makers receive a mysterious call inviting them to a modern-day replica of serial killer\u00a0H. H. Holmes<\/a>‘ “Murder Castle”. As they film their latest episode, they slowly begin to realize things are not quite as they seem and that they are being watched and manipulated. Soon enough, they discover there is much more at stake than just their ratings.[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
