Elden Ring<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is an\u00a0action role-playing game<\/a>\u00a0developed by\u00a0FromSoftware<\/a>\u00a0and published by\u00a0Bandai Namco Entertainment<\/a>. The game, directed by\u00a0Hidetaka Miyazaki<\/a>, was made in collaboration with\u00a0fantasy<\/a>\u00a0novelist\u00a0George R. R. Martin<\/a>, who provided material for the game’s setting.\u00a0Elden Ring<\/i>\u00a0was released for\u00a0Microsoft Windows<\/a>,\u00a0PlayStation 4<\/a>,\u00a0PlayStation 5<\/a>,\u00a0Xbox One<\/a>, and\u00a0Xbox Series X\/S<\/a>\u00a0on February 25, 2022.<\/p>\n

Elden Ring<\/i>\u00a0takes place in the realm of the Lands Between, sometime after the destruction of the titular Elden Ring and the scattering of its shards, the Great Runes. Once graced by the Ring and the Erdtree which symbolizes its presence, the realm is now ruled over by the demigod offspring of Queen Marika the Eternal, each possessing a shard of the Ring that corrupts and taints them with power. As Tarnished\u2014exiles from the Lands Between who lost the Ring’s grace and are summoned back after the Shattering, players must traverse the realm to ultimately find all the Great Runes, restore the Elden Ring, and become the Elden Lord.[1]<\/a><\/sup>[2]<\/a><\/sup>[3]<\/a><\/sup><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
