The film follows a six-member crew of the International Space Station<\/a> that uncovers what initially seems to be the first evidence of life on Mars<\/a>; however, the crew finds their discovery might not be what it seems.<\/p>\n

The film had its world premiere at South by Southwest<\/a> on March 18, 2017, and was theatrically released in the United States on March 24, 2017, by Columbia Pictures<\/a>. It received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $93.5 million worldwide.<\/p>\n
