Ballerina<\/b><\/i> is a 2016 English-language Canadian-French 3D<\/a> computer-animated<\/a> musical<\/a> adventure<\/a> comedy film<\/a> co-directed by \u00c9ric Summer and \u00c9ric Warin. The screenplay, by Summer, Carol Noble and Laurent Zeitoun, with music by Klaus Badelt<\/a>, concerns a poor orphan girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina and gets a chance to audition for the celebrated school of the Paris Opera Ballet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The film stars the voices of Elle Fanning<\/a>, Dane DeHaan<\/a>, Maddie Ziegler<\/a> and Carly Rae Jepsen<\/a>. It was released in theatres in France and the UK in December 2016. The film is set to be released in the U.S. on August 30, 2017, under the title Leap!<\/b><\/i>, with Nat Wolff<\/a> replacing DeHaan, and Kate McKinnon<\/a> and Mel Brooks<\/a> added.<\/p>\n

Paris, 1884. A orphaned girl arrives in Paris from Brittany. F\u00e9licie Milliner is 11 and has no money but one big, passionate dream: to become a dancer. Mentored by the tough and mysterious cleaner, Odette , F\u00e9licie learns that talent is not enough – it takes hard work to be better than her ruthless, conniving fellow students. That and friendship. Felicie’s inventive, exhausting and charismatic best friend Victor also has a dream: becoming a famous inventor.
