SnowRunner<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is a 2020\u00a0off-road<\/a>\u00a0simulation video game<\/a>\u00a0developed by\u00a0Saber Interactive<\/a>\u00a0and published by\u00a0Focus Home Interactive<\/a>.\u00a0SnowRunner<\/i>\u00a0has the player control\u00a0off-road<\/a>\u00a0vehicles as they traverse between locations to complete objectives.[2]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0Following on from the studio’s\u00a0Spintires<\/a><\/i>\u00a0and its expanded version\u00a0MudRunner<\/a><\/i>, the game was announced as\u00a0MudRunner 2<\/i>\u00a0in August 2018.[3]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0Focus Home and Saber Interactive decided to re-reveal the title a year later as\u00a0SnowRunner<\/i>. The game features over 40 different vehicles and more than 15\u00a0sandbox<\/a>\u00a0locations.[4]<\/a><\/sup>[5]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

SnowRunner<\/i>\u00a0is an\u00a0off-roading<\/a>\u00a0open world<\/a>\u00a0simulation video game<\/a>\u00a0where the player’s job is to deliver cargo to different places while driving over rough terrain. The game has a damage system similar to\u00a0BeamNG.drive<\/a>, in which there’s both damage on the physical model and also damage shown through a\u00a0UI<\/a>. Each of the games regions is set after a various disaster has taken place, some being natural like\u00a0floods<\/a>, others being manmade like a pipeline breaking and vary from places like\u00a0Michigan<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0Kola Peninsula<\/a>. As the player progresses by doing certain missions, they earn money which can then be spent on a better vehicle, usually making it easier for the player to traverse the game’s difficult terrain. Along the way the player may encounter optional timed missions in which the rewards for completion get better the faster the player completes them.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
