Yakuza 6: The Song of Life<\/b><\/i>[a]<\/a><\/sup>[1]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0is an\u00a0action-adventure<\/a>\u00a0video game<\/a>\u00a0developed and published by\u00a0Sega<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0PlayStation 4<\/a>. The game is the seventh main entry in the\u00a0Yakuza<\/a><\/i>\u00a0series,[2]<\/a><\/sup>[3]<\/a><\/sup>[4]<\/a><\/sup>[5]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0and was released in Japan in December 2016. The English version was released in Southeast Asia in March 2018,[6]<\/a><\/sup>[7]<\/a><\/sup>[8]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0and worldwide the following month[9]<\/a><\/sup>[10]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0since its release in Japan in December 2016.[11]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0Versions for\u00a0Microsoft Windows<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Xbox One<\/a>\u00a0were released in March 2021.[12]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

Yakuza 6<\/i>\u00a0is an\u00a0action-adventure game<\/a>\u00a0set in an\u00a0open world<\/a>\u00a0environment and played from a\u00a0third-person perspective<\/a>. It is similar to that of other\u00a0Yakuza<\/i>\u00a0titles with exploration mixed with arcade style over the top combat with ragdoll physics. A more advanced variant of\u00a0Yakuza 5<\/a>‘<\/i>s Dragon Spirit Mode, called Extreme Heat Mode, is introduced, where Kiryu becomes temporarily invulnerable as long as his Heat remains, and his combo finishers can turn into Heat actions that take out immense amounts of health. Kazuma Kiryu returns as the main and only playable character and the game features locations of\u00a0Kamurocho<\/a>,\u00a0Tokyo<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Onomichi<\/a>,\u00a0Hiroshima Prefecture<\/a>, with just one fighting style returning this time like all titles before\u00a0Yakuza 0<\/a><\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Yakuza Kiwami<\/a><\/i>.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
