The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is an\u00a0interactive drama<\/a>\u00a0survival horror<\/a>\u00a0video game<\/a>\u00a0developed by\u00a0Supermassive Games<\/a>\u00a0and published by\u00a0Bandai Namco Entertainment<\/a>. It is the second of eight planned installments in\u00a0The Dark Pictures Anthology<\/i>\u00a0series and the successor to\u00a0Man of Medan<\/a><\/i>. The game was released for\u00a0Microsoft Windows<\/a>,\u00a0PlayStation 4<\/a>, and\u00a0Xbox One<\/a>\u00a0on 30 October 2020.<\/p>\n

Little Hope<\/i>\u00a0is presented as an unfinished story in the possession of the omnipresent Curator (Pip Torrens<\/a>), who requests the player’s assistance in completing it. The story follows college students Andrew (Will Poulter<\/a>), Angela (Ellen David<\/a>), Taylor (Caitlyn Sponheimer), Daniel (Kyle Bailey), and their professor John (Alex Ivanovici) who become stranded in the eponymous fictional town after their bus crashes. Located in\u00a0New England<\/a>,\u00a0Little Hope<\/i>\u00a0has an infamous history of\u00a0witch hunting<\/a>\u00a0that took place in 1692.[2]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0As the group explores the town, they witness the execution of a group of settlers from the past who look exactly like them. The group must find out their connections with this group of settlers, piece together the history of the town, and discover “the root of the evil”.[3]<\/a><\/sup><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
