Death Stranding<\/em>\u00a0is an action game developed by Kojima Productions. It is the first game from director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions after their split from Konami in 2015. It was released by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 in November 2019 and by 505 Games for Windows in July 2020.<\/p>\n

The game is set in the United States following a cataclysmic event which caused destructive creatures to begin roaming the Earth. Players control Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus<\/a>), a courier tasked with delivering supplies to isolated colonies and reconnecting them via a wireless communications network. Alongside Reedus, the game features actors\u00a0Mads Mikkelsen<\/a>,\u00a0L\u00e9a Seydoux<\/a>,\u00a0Margaret Qualley<\/a>,\u00a0Troy Baker<\/a>,\u00a0Tommie Earl Jenkins<\/a>, and\u00a0Lindsay Wagner<\/a>, in addition to the likenesses of film directors\u00a0Guillermo del Toro<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Nicolas Winding Refn<\/a>\u00a0as supporting characters.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
