Detroit: Become Human<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is a 2018\u00a0adventure game<\/a>\u00a0developed by\u00a0Quantic Dream<\/a>\u00a0and published by\u00a0Sony Interactive Entertainment<\/a>. The plot follows three\u00a0androids<\/a>: Kara (Valorie Curry<\/a>), who escapes the owner she was serving to explore her newfound\u00a0sentience<\/a>\u00a0and protect a young girl; Connor (Bryan Dechart<\/a>), whose job is to hunt down sentient androids; and Markus (Jesse Williams<\/a>), who devotes himself to releasing other androids from servitude.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Detroit: Become Human<\/i>\u00a0is based on Quantic Dream’s 2012\u00a0technology demonstration<\/a>\u00a0Kara<\/i>, which also starred Curry. To research the setting, the developers visited\u00a0Detroit, Michigan<\/a>. The script took writer and director\u00a0David Cage<\/a>\u00a0over two years to complete. They built a new\u00a0engine<\/a>\u00a0to complement the game and cast hundreds of actors before commencing the process of shooting and\u00a0animation<\/a>.\u00a0Philip Sheppard<\/a>,\u00a0Nima Fakhrara<\/a>, and\u00a0John Paesano<\/a>\u00a0served as composers for Kara, Connor, and Markus, respectively. It was released for the\u00a0PlayStation 4<\/a>\u00a0in May 2018 and\u00a0Microsoft Windows<\/a>\u00a0in December 2019.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
