Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein<\/b><\/i>\u00a0(English:\u00a0You say something, I’ll say something<\/i>) is a 2002 Indian\u00a0Hindi<\/a>\u00a0romance<\/a>\u00a0drama film<\/a>\u00a0directed by Ravi Shankar. The film stars\u00a0Fardeen Khan<\/a>\u00a0opposite debutant\u00a0Richa Pallod<\/a>. It released worldwide on 28 June 2002, and opened to a mixed response from critics and public.[3]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0The story is based on two lovers who are unable to start a relationship because of their family’s feud and ancient grudge. The storyline is a remake of the Telugu movie\u00a0Kalisundam Raa<\/a><\/i>, and features similarities with\u00a0William Shakespeare<\/a>‘s classical story,\u00a0Romeo and Juliet<\/a><\/i>.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Two feuding neighboring families are brought together to celebrate the wedding anniversary of Vishnupratap Singh (Vikram Gokhale) and his wife (Farida Jalal), much to the dislike of Rudra Pratap (Sharad Kapoor). During this get together Abhayendra Singh (Fardeen Khan) falls in love with Mangala Solanki (Richa Pallod). Abhayendra comes to know of the background of the two families’ feud, and makes attempts to reconcile the two families – with disasterous results.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
