The film is touted to be a spiritual continuation to the 1988 film <a title=\"Sathya (1988 film)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sathya_(1988_film)\"><i>Sathya<\/i><\/a> which starred Kamal Haasan in the lead role.<sup id=\"cite_ref-2\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dha_Dha_87#cite_note-2\">[2]<\/a><\/sup> The film is also simultaneously dubbed in Hindi and the film is bankrolled by Kalai Cinemas. Leander Lee Marty has been roped into score music for the film.
