Terminator: Resistance<\/b><\/i> is a first-person shooter<\/a> action<\/a> video game, set to be released on November 15, 2019 in Europe and Australia, and on December 10, 2019 in North America.[1]<\/a><\/sup>[2] <\/a><\/sup>Its story is set in a post-apocalyptic 2028 Los Angeles<\/a> and serves as a prequel<\/a> to the James Cameron<\/a>‘s Terminator<\/i> franchise<\/a> films The Terminator<\/a><\/i> (1984) and Terminator 2: Judgment Day<\/a><\/i> (1991). Players will take on the role of a new character, Jacob Rivers, a soldier in the John Connor<\/a>-led human resistance against Skynet<\/a>‘s robotic killing machines. The game will have multiple possible endings<\/a>.[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

<\/sup>A sixth film in the Terminator<\/i> franchise, Terminator: Dark Fate<\/a><\/i>, was released shortly prior to the game’s release, and the game does not appear to have any relation or connection to the sixth film’s timeline or characters.[3]<\/a><\/sup> Like Dark Fate<\/i>, however, the game appears to be ignoring all Terminator<\/i> franchise films after Terminator 2: Judgment Day<\/i>.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
