Temple<\/b><\/i> is a Sky One<\/a> television series<\/a> and is an adaptation of the Norwegian television Valkyrien<\/a><\/i>, which first aired in 2017. It stars Mark Strong<\/a>, Carice Van Houten<\/a> and Daniel Mays<\/a> and was commissioned on 23 August 2018. In a labyrinth of abandoned service tunnels near Temple Underground Station<\/a>, Daniel (Mark Strong<\/a>), a surgeon, runs an illegal medical clinic to treat criminals and other desperate patients who cannot or will not seek help from regular medical facilities.[3]<\/a><\/sup> Daniel sets up the clinic to find a cure for his wife, Beth (Catherine McCormack<\/a>), who suffers from a terminal illness.[4]<\/a><\/sup> Lee (Daniel Mays<\/a>), a Temple station staff member, and Anna (Carice van Houten<\/a>), a medical researcher, help him run the clinic.[5]<\/a><\/sup> The series focuses on the secrecy, exits and issues of trust as the clinic treats its desperate patients as well as Daniel’s need for money to fund his research.<\/sup><\/sup><\/sup><\/p>\n
