The End of the F***ing World<\/b><\/i> is a British dark<\/a> comedy-drama<\/a> television programme, based on a graphic novel<\/a> of the same name by Charles Forsman<\/a>. The eight-part programme premiered its first episode on Channel 4<\/a> in the United Kingdom<\/a> on 24 October 2017, after which all eight episodes were released on All 4<\/a>. Netflix<\/a> handled international distribution and released it internationally on 5 January 2018. The programme follows James (Alex Lawther<\/a>), a 17-year-old who believes himself to be a psychopath<\/a>, and Alyssa (Jessica Barden<\/a>), a rebellious classmate who sees in James a chance to escape from her tumultuous home life. Gemma Whelan<\/a>, Wunmi Mosaku<\/a>, Steve Oram<\/a>, Christine Bottomley<\/a>, Navin Chowdhry<\/a>, and Barry Ward<\/a> appear in supporting roles.<\/p>\n

James is 17 and is pretty sure he is a psychopath. Alyssa, also 17, is the cool and moody new girl at school. The pair make a connection and she persuades him to embark on a road trip in search of her real father.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
