The Kitchen<\/b><\/i> is an upcoming American crime<\/a> drama<\/a> film written and directed by Andrea Berloff<\/a>, in her directorial debut. The film is based on the Vertigo<\/a> comic book miniseries of the same name by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle. The film stars Melissa McCarthy<\/a>, Tiffany Haddish<\/a>, and Elisabeth Moss<\/a> as the wives of Irish mobsters<\/a> who take over organized crime operations in the 1970s in New York City<\/a>‘s Hell’s Kitchen<\/a> neighborhood after the FBI<\/a> arrests their husbands. The film also features Domhnall Gleeson<\/a>, James Badge Dale<\/a>, Brian d’Arcy James<\/a>, with Margo Martindale<\/a>, Common<\/a>, and Bill Camp<\/a> in supporting roles. Produced by New Line Cinema<\/a>, the film is set to be released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures<\/a> on August 9, 2019. The film received negative reviews from critics.<\/p>\n
