It is an official remake of the 2009 <a title=\"Telugu language\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Telugu_language\">Telugu<\/a> film <a title=\"Kick (2009 film)\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kick_(2009_film)\">of the same name<\/a>. The film features <a title=\"Salman Khan\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Salman_Khan\">Salman Khan<\/a>, <a title=\"Jacqueline Fernandez\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jacqueline_Fernandez\">Jacqueline Fernandez<\/a>, and <a title=\"Randeep Hooda\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Randeep_Hooda\">Randeep Hooda<\/a> in the lead roles and <a title=\"Nawazuddin Siddiqui\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Nawazuddin_Siddiqui\">Nawazuddin Siddiqui<\/a> portraying the main antagonist of the film. The screenplay was adapted by Nadiadwala and <a title=\"Chetan Bhagat\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chetan_Bhagat\">Chetan Bhagat<\/a>.
