Starring an ensemble cast<\/a> led by Ellen Burstyn<\/a>, Kieran Culkin<\/a>, Julie Delpy<\/a>, Danny DeVito<\/a>, Greta Gerwig<\/a>, Tracy Letts<\/a>, and Zosia Mamet<\/a>, the film serves as a spin-off<\/a> from Solondz’s 1995 film Welcome to the Dollhouse<\/a><\/i>, which also features the character of Dawn Wiener.<\/p>\n

The film had its world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival<\/a> on January 22, 2016[3]<\/a><\/sup> before receiving a limited theatrical release<\/a> on June 24, 2016, by Amazon Studios<\/a> and IFC Films<\/a>.<\/p>\n
