Article 15<\/b><\/i> is a 2019 Indian crime drama film<\/a>[2]<\/a><\/sup> directed by Anubhav Sinha<\/a> produced by Zee Studios<\/a> and Benaras Media Works.[3]<\/a><\/sup> The film is written by Gaurav Solanki<\/a> and Anubhav Sinha<\/a>. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana<\/a>, Isha Talwar<\/a>, Sayani Gupta<\/a>, Kumud Mishra<\/a> and Manoj Pahwa<\/a>. The film is based on Article 15<\/i> of the Indian Constitution<\/a>, which prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion<\/a>, race<\/a>, caste<\/a>, sex<\/a> or place of birth.[4]<\/a><\/sup> Article 15<\/i> takes inspiration from true life events, including 2014 Badaun gang rape allegations<\/a> and 2016 Una flogging incident<\/a>.[5]<\/a><\/sup>[6]<\/a><\/sup> Ayushmann Khurrana, the protagonist, is playing a police officer in the film.
