Steel Division 2<\/b><\/i> is a real-time strategy<\/a> video game<\/a> set during Operation Bagration<\/a>. The game was released worldwide on 20 June 2019.The game is developed by Eugen Systems<\/a>, and was published independently. Steel Division 2<\/i> is the sequel to the 2017 game Steel Division: Normandy 44<\/a><\/i>.<\/p>\n

Set during Operation Bagration<\/a>, Steel Division 2<\/i> is a real-time strategy<\/a> video game<\/a> that takes influence from World War II<\/a>, similarly to its predecessor, Steel Division: Normandy 44<\/a><\/i>.[1]<\/a><\/sup> The game is set to include single-player<\/a>, multiplayer<\/a>, and cooperative<\/a> aspects. The single-player is dubbed “Dynamic Strategic Campaigns” and is turn-based<\/a> (unlike the previous game), with each turn being the equivalent of half a day,[2]<\/a><\/sup>though combat is done in real-time.[3]<\/a><\/sup> The multiplayer allows for up to twenty players in ten against ten<\/a> battles. Both modes feature twenty-five maps that are scaled 1:1<\/a> with a size of up to 150 \u00d7 100 kilometres,[4]<\/a><\/sup>and cover the details of the battles that took place during the aforementioned operation.[2]<\/a><\/sup> Able to play as both the Red Army<\/a> and Axis powers<\/a>, players have the option of eighteen divisions<\/a>, with the capability to choose from over six hundred units when building a deck. Decks are used during game, and only units in the deck can be deployed.[1]<\/a><\/sup> Cooperative missions are also planned.[4]<\/a><\/sup> Players who owned the first Steel Division game can have access to some 8 divisions (Both Axis and Allies) with over 350 units.
