Simmba<\/b><\/i> (lit.<\/abbr> Lion) is a 2018 Indian Hindi<\/a>-language action film<\/a> directed by Rohit Shetty<\/a> and written by Yunus Sajawal and Sajid-Farhad<\/a>. A spin-off<\/a> of the Singham<\/a><\/i> franchise, the film was produced by Shetty under his banner Rohit Shetty Picturez and Karan Johar<\/a>, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner Dharma Productions<\/a>. It stars Ranveer Singh<\/a>, Sara Ali Khan<\/a> and Sonu Sood<\/a>, with Ajay Devgn<\/a> reprising his role of Bajirao Singham. The film follows Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao, a corrupt police officer hailing from the same town as Singham, who is forced to lead a more righteous path after tragedy strikes those near him.<\/p>\n

Simmba is an orphan from Shivgadh from where our beloved Singham was born and raised. Contrary to the philosophies of Singham, Simmba believes that a Corrupt Officer’s life is an ideal life which inspires him to become one. While Simmba enjoys all the perks of being an immoral and unethical Police Officer, a twist in the tale transforms him and forces him to choose the righteous path.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
