The film stars Humphrey Bogart<\/a>, Ingrid Bergman<\/a>, and Paul Henreid<\/a>; it also features Claude Rains<\/a>, Conrad Veidt<\/a>, Sydney Greenstreet<\/a>, Peter Lorre<\/a>, and Dooley Wilson<\/a>. Set during contemporary World War II<\/a>, it focuses on an American expatriate who must choose between his love for a woman and helping her and her husband, a Czech Resistance<\/a> leader, escape from the Vichy<\/a>-controlled city of Casablanca<\/a> to continue his fight against the Nazis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), who owns a nightclub in Casablanca, discovers his old flame Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman) is in town with her husband, Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid). Laszlo is a famed rebel, and with Germans on his tail, Ilsa knows Rick can help them get out of the country.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
