FIFA 19<\/b><\/i> is a football<\/a> simulation<\/a> video game<\/a> developed by EA Vancouver<\/a> as part of Electronic Arts<\/a>‘ FIFA<\/i> series<\/a>. Announced on 6 June 2018 for its E3 2018<\/a> press conference, it was released on 28 September 2018 for PlayStation 3<\/a>, PlayStation 4<\/a>, Xbox 360<\/a>, Xbox One<\/a>, Nintendo Switch<\/a>, and Microsoft Windows<\/a>.[1]<\/a><\/sup> It is the 26th instalment in the FIFA<\/i> series. As with FIFA 18<\/a><\/i>, Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> appears as the cover athlete of the regular edition, while he and Neymar<\/a> appear on the Champions and Ultimate Edition packs for the game.[2]\u00a0<\/sup>The game features the UEFA club competitions for the first time, including the UEFA Champions League<\/a>.[2]<\/a><\/sup> Martin Tyler and Alan Smith return as regular commentators, while the new commentary team of Derek Rae<\/a> and Lee Dixon<\/a> feature in the UEFA competitions mode.[2]<\/a><\/sup> Composer Hans Zimmer<\/a> and rapper Vince Staples<\/a> recorded a new remix of the UEFA Champions League anthem<\/a> specifically for the game.[3]<\/a><\/sup> The character Alex Hunter<\/a>, who first appeared in FIFA 17<\/a><\/i> returns for the third and final instalment of “The Journey”, entitled, “The Journey: Champions”.<\/p>\n

The story-based mode that was introduced in FIFA 17<\/a><\/i> returns in this instalment and continues for the last instalment under the title “The Journey: Champions”. In this instalment, Alex Hunter<\/a> signs for Real Madrid<\/a> and tries to become their star player after Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> leaves for Italian giants Juventus<\/a>.[19]<\/a><\/sup> As FIFA 19<\/i> has the full Champions League licence, Hunter also competes for Champions League glory. Danny Williams returns trying to carve out a name for himself and compete for the Champions League hardware. Alex Hunter’s half-sister, Kim Hunter, tries to compete for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup<\/a>. The game features guest stars such as Kevin De Bruyne<\/a>, Neymar Jr<\/a>, Paulo Dybala<\/a>, and Alex Morgan<\/a>.[20]<\/a><\/sup> Gareth Walker and Dino, who previously appeared in FIFA 17<\/a><\/i> and FIFA 18<\/a><\/i>, don’t appear in the storyline for unknown reasons.<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n
