Has Fallen (2013-2019)

The Has Fallen film series (also referred to simply as Fallen), consists of American action films with characters created by screenwriters Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt. The films star Gerard Butler as United States Secret Service agent Mike Banning, Aaron Eckhart as U.S. President Benjamin Asher, and Morgan Freeman as the Speaker of the House (and eventual President) Allan Trumbull. The film series consists of: Olympus Has Fallen (2013), London Has Fallen (2016), and Angel Has Fallen (2019). Overall, the movies have received mixed critical reception and has grossed $504 million worldwide. The film series will continue, with Butler signed on for three more feature films. With plans to expand into a franchise, producers have various foreign, local-language, TV spin-offs in development.[1]

Disgraced Secret Service agent (and former presidential guard) Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack led by Kang, a Korean terrorist group leader. Using his inside knowledge, Banning must work with national security to rescue the President from his kidnappers.
